Overcoming Fear of Success with Positive Self-Talk Exercises

Overcoming fear of success is a battle for many people of all ages. My readers and followers, many are entrepreneurs, find that how to face fear is committing to overcoming fear of failure.

But doesn’t the world need your successes?

This thought alone can be hypnosis for success!

Imagine learning how to face fear and being a significant role model in your life, extending the light in you with something amazing and brand-new.

The Course in Miracles states, “Reflections are seen in light. In darkness they are obscure, and their meaning seems to lie only in shifting interpretations, rather than in themselves.”

It can be anything from learning to make your heart’s desires a reality and a way of life, improving your golf handicap, starting a new career, or starting a blog.

Maybe you’ve been longing to rekindle lost love in a marriage, losing weight with yoga, developing a brand-new financial mindset, or improving your life with increased life self-confidence.

Or, perhaps it’s quitting smoking, or maybe it’s time you give up the alcohol, or any other addictions holding you hostage.

Learning How to Face Fear

Overcoming fear of success begins by undoing unfavorable declarations such as the ones mentioned above, that only produce worry of failure and worry of rejection within an individual.

Not being able to live life on your terms can be a frustration that leaves you short on the receiving end and feeling powerless.

Overcoming fear of success means to no longer lack self-confidence which only develops barriers that compete with personal improvement.

The Course in Miracles states, “Miracles are not in competition, and the number of them that you can do is limitless.”

The implicit, or unspoken message, is: “Whatever gave you the idea that you can’t live life on your terms?”

It’s like the guy who finally made the football team, but the coach had him sitting on the bench. What kinds of sensations does he experience? Humiliation?  Insecurity?

Exactly what will it take for him to realize his true calling and start overcoming fear of failure and get off of the bench and end up being the athlete, the person, he truly wishes to end up being.

For instance, because of life-confidence for women, more than ever before many once at-home moms are now entering the business world full time, and becoming successful entrepreneurs , and it’s a trend that is exploding.

So, exactly what’s avoiding many from speaking out and letting the coach know that he/she’s one fantastic individual, and given the opportunity will prove just how unstoppable they really can end up being.

Sitting on the bench in life and not asserting yourself, is like being in a play without acting out the part.

Being Successful in Life

Do you go through life without getting involved one-hundred percent?

Maybe it’s due to the fact that you think you might be successful at exactly what you set out to achieve.

The power within you, yes, the power of your subconscious mind, wants you to become successful and to live life on your terms, because the world needs your light extended.

Begin overcoming fear of success by no longer setting yourself up for failure and sabotaging your success by telling yourself that you cannot perform well?

Is it possible that you don’t realize how to face fear because you enable ineffective and unfavorable vocabulary to dominate your ideas?

Negative self-talk removes your motivation for overcoming fear of success, and is an inner barrier that needs to be removed. This is why I always recommend mindfulness meditation techniques.

Begin, right now, with positive self-talk exercises.

Here are 5 positive self-talk exercises to begin overcoming fear of success:

  • 1.) Constantly informing yourself that you welcome obstacles can be a sort of hypnosis for success. Move forward in your interaction by erasing all unfavorable self-talk.
  • 2.) Think that whatever you set out to accomplish, you will provide it one-hundred percent. Stop offering reasons to blame yourself, becoming disempowered from attaining your objectives and increasing your self-esteem.
  • 3.) Believe that your “pride of accomplishment” motivates you to eliminate all the “should of’s,” “ought to do’s,” and “could of’s,” from your vocabulary.
  • 4.) Constantly “see” yourself in an evolving method. Feel and think that you are one dynamite, ecstatic, and effective individual.
  • 5.) Constantly tell yourself that your beliefs affect the order of how you feel and act.

Remember, unfavorable self-talk and dark attitudes will hinder you from overcoming fear of success, such as the ones discussed can create fear of failure and fear of rejection within an individual.

The Course in Miracles further teaches, “Let your mind not wander through darkened corridors, away from light’s center.”

Just go out and do what it takes, do the research, investigate, perhaps hypnosis for success, or whatever feels right, and then take action, on exactly what it will take for you to get off of the bench in life, and being the individual you genuinely want to be.

Again, are you always setting yourself up for failure and undermining your being successful in life by informing yourself that you can’t do it?
