The healing of our separate identity has always been the universal missing link to the chain of interconnectedness. The separated state has brought about much madness, but anything that separates from its Source will experience loss, chaos, and fear. Is it any wonder that we live in a mad world?
In book 1 of the series we look at…Why are we so passive in the face of this madness, and afraid to show our real selves to this sad belief we’ve had, that what is questionable or doubtful is true?
But only nothing can be doubtful, which is what the ego is.
And in book 2, the sequel, you’ll see that…Fantasy or illusion is made by separate wishes that are an idea of false reality.
At best these wishes can only seem real in time. Therefore, are your wishes what forms your beliefs?
Consider that nothing the world believes is true.
I know, that statement may be similar to me asking you to consider the grass being purple. But isn’t a belief in anything merely a way to claim what we don’t really know?
We Do Have a Mission Here
When you think about it, couldn’t we say that a belief is a wannabe truth, made in order to satisfy an uncertainty?
(When you’re done here I suggest this related article on how to begin overcoming anxiety and fear of being alone and live the life you want.)
Only the ego is uncertain, but it hopes that one day magic will prevail and open the gates to Heaven, where we’ll finally find answers.
This kind of believing is the ego’s lessons that the answers we seek today will be our just reward when we die.
By following this lesson, how could we then ever know anything, if we must wait until our death?
To die certainly means “no life,” the last I understood it. How could there be knowledge in that mode?
This is the vicious cycle you live by until the moment Atonement— the undoing of false reality, is accepted, and healing begins where you learn it is impossible to doubt yourself any longer and to not be aware of what you truly are.
A Course in Miracles states, “The Atonement was built into the space-time belief to set a limit on the need for the belief itself, and ultimately to make learning complete.”
Your function is self-healing.
Think about it—isn’t that what we do constantly?
Healing in some manner is always taking place.
When you accept Atonement you do so from knowledge, not from a belief. Do you believe you’re healing, or do you know when healing is making wholeness out of what was broken apart?
A Course in Miracles further states, “The Atonement is a total commitment.”
Your acceptance of the healing Atonement can only take place of you and by you. It is your destiny.
Do you choose a life of false ideas, unsettledness, and anxiety, or a life of truthful healing?
It’s up to you.
Once you do accept your truthful self, it is set forever as the thought extending from God. You are the Idea of Creation.
Without the wholeness of you the Kingdom is bereft, and Creation is lacking.
This is why your true free will is so important.
It’s your extension from God.
This gives you the vision to see everything about who you are. You even know when you are denying yourself. When you are doubtful you know, rather than believe.
You know when you’re not being yourself, and you know when you’re living a fantasy or untruth.
With this truth now being brought forward in you, the charade can be over.
Let’s face it. We do have a mission here. We’re not passing through this dream of false ideas only to participate in the madness we tell ourselves is real.
