How to Listen to Your Inner Voice for Managing Anxiety and Fear Fast

Our minds typically appear anxiety filled with recurring fears that learning how to listen to your inner voice may heal.

I’m talking about ideas for how to be spiritual regarding overcoming an anxious life and future.

It is our bodies that tire from the physical fatigue.

I want to share an extended analogy with you about when I muttered inside myself I was so stressed regarding a prison confinement.

It seemed I just could not rest.

Much more an inner voice urging me to recognize exactly how I might begin managing anxiety.

Yes, even from deep in the rabbit hole of the prison system.

It’s these nervous sensations we want to overcome through the help of our inner spirit.

Whether managing anxiety develops throughout quick appearances of anxiety, how to be spiritual may surely help.

Or whether it’s even more extreme, how to be spiritual minded simply means how to listen to your inner voice.

Keep in mind as you absorb this article for its value to you, this spiritual metaphysical principle from A Course in Miracles:

  • “Behold the Guide your Father gave you, that you might learn you have eternal light… That is why the recognition of your own invulnerability is so important to the restoration of your sanity.”

How to listen to your inner voice with calmness.

There was a night while in the volatile and often violent din of the cell block, the Voice taught me something.

It was that I only thought I needed the re-occurring fear and anxiety. I mean, as a device to hold onto like a shield of armor to protect me from my own fears.

Especially there in prison, where fear runs rampant, did I think the armor would protect me from violence.

This way I could stay behind the armor and fight my own fears while feeling safe from the fears of others.

It made sense that I must let go of all the fears that haunted me. Likewise, take in the attitude “what is the worst that can happen to me?”

This way I would no longer need to reserve a spot to harbor the anxiousness and managing anxiety.

I would have no reason to use it.

All of this startled me at first, but then I was able to understand it as a revelation.

In other words, it was a message directly from God, my Source of life.

This loving breakthrough for how to be spiritual minded meant never needing to feel anxious again.

What I’m saying is, in the way I did, that threatened me, did not at first seem to be normal.

It was like giving something away I thought I needed to hang onto.

I can say it was kind of like giving to the Good Will that old pair of blue jeans you never wear anymore. But for some reason didn’t wish to part with.

The Good Will would clean them up, fix them a bit, and use the refurbished, newer looking jeans to sell used for profit later.

This is exactly what the Holy Spirit will do with what it is that bogs you down or frightens you.

Your inner Spirit will undo all that keeps you off track. It is in this undoing that teaches us how to be spiritual.

He will re-use it somewhere else in your life after He takes it off your mind.

It could be in a lesson learned, such as, the, “Been there-done-that” attitude that instructs you not to “go there.”

OR, you may need that type of body image down the road for whatever reason.

For example, He may “refurbish” it into ambition rather than anxiousness.

By realizing this undoing process in motion all the time while here on Earth, is how to listen to your inner voice

Is it my own past fears that now gives me the enthusiasm and experience plus knowledge to write my ever-developing book series?

(Here’s another suggested related article on: why positive aging is all in your attitude for living life to the fullest, without stress and anxiety:)

Who knows where He may use what you give Him.

So release and let go what troubles you.

What’s the worst that can happen?

It doesn’t matter because the point is, leave it to the Holy Spirit for His purposes of undoing.

Yes, see it as a refurbishing, so He may use it later to where it will profit you.

As soon as I was able to face this head on while in prison, and still to this day as free man I could let go of all my anxiousness.

I mean not be so frustrated when negative scenarios would strike me.

Now I can turn “on a dime” when I see unwanted anxiousness approaching. When I turn it over entirely to the Holy Spirit, He can deal with it on my behalf.

Likewise I’ll maintain the control I need.

It’s as though I delegate the task of managing anxiety and fear to Him. It’s about total trust in your inner Self–which is the Holy Spirit.

You can do this for yourself, as I do. Yes, by using similar words to the following, in the form of a prayer or in meditation:

  •  “Holy Spirit, I am feeling anxiousness I do not want over this situation. I am releasing these feelings to you. They are for your use now, take them away, they’re yours now.”

A Course in Miracles further states:

  • “When you look within and see me, it will be because you have decided to manifest truth. And as you manifest it you will see it both without and within.”

This is why I always urge that you learn some form of mindfulness meditation to enhance your journey through this world.

If you want to learn how to do mindfulness meditation, I suggest this 7 Minute Mindfulness practice which I use regularly.

We don’t need anxiousness and anxiety.

You will be amazed how quickly fear will subside without it. As well, by learning how to listen to your inner voice it works the other way around, too.

Anxiety and fear are partners in crime, and they need each other.

Think about it, from our lesson earlier. “What is the worst that can happen to you” when you choose to never be anxious and to face fear head on?

To re-enforce your power against both these illusions, just look directly at them as you watch them leave you.

The result is no more conflict.

For a number of us, however, anxiousness seems to like to overstay the unwanted welcome.

Thereby, when you learn how to listen to your inner voice by understanding His constant undoing, you will succeed.

All of us experience stress and anxiety at times. I mean whether it’s concerning job, family members and also close friends.

As well as it’s typically the prod that obtains us to fulfill a job target date or make it to the airport terminal on time.

Whatever it is in your day to day struggles, to overcome these anxiety filled moments means learning how to listen to your inner voice.

It’s all about being at-one with your inner voice that brings forth miracles.

By not understanding exactly how to collaborate with our fear and anxiety sensations only breeds more stress.
