Like a path in life we feel we must take, we’ve all at some point pondered over seeing God understood.
If you have not already, you will have the same or similar ego questions that have risen in all of us at one time or another.
For example, “Why does God send out signals or signs to us when He could simply speak to us plainly in our own given language?”
Or “did Moses see God” in reality, or things like “is Jesus God?”
And then, perhaps, “If He created me in His image, why doesn’t he simply appear before me, where I can see Him, so we can have a face-to-face conversation?
After all, He is capable of anything.”
In book 1 of the series we deeply explore…These are good, honest questions about seeing God, but they arise from the confusion of the ego mind. These are thoughts concerning the body; they are questions of the body being asked by the body.
A Dream of Sort
In book 2 the sequel we see why we must…Remember, when humanity as a whole slipped into a dream of sort of being separate from Oneness, it was a separation of mind. However, not of body, but such as a quick day, so to speak.
Seeing God understood and life in this world this way leads to more balance and our full potential.
Our dream state in this instant, the nanosecond of the dream of life are projected bodily images. Yes, to make the world we see, is of our own image-making—not God’s.
Sure, God did create us in His Likeness of Mind. But I mean, the body is our own self-made fantasy fashioned to hide our guilt from separating.
Besides, it’s all a dream, and that’s why we aren’t actually seeing God.
Try to begin understanding that God does not extend Himself as a projected image. So seeing God does not come about.
We’ve made our own image of God.
While projections are necessary as the essence of any dream, He is not dreaming.
The fantasy of a body as who you are does not carry with it a mind. Minds do not have actual physical features, such as a mouth or vocal cords to speak through.
We are the extension of God’s Mind, not of a body.
This is why God uses his Holy Spirit, which is already in our minds, to communicate this realm of One-Mindedness. He uses time, which we made, to do so.
This answers things like did Moses see God, or is Jesus God? Seeing God was Jesus entering the dream with messages to help us awaken.
Think of when you are in a daze or daydream of sort, or had a frightening thought, only for an instant, and someone gently nudges you to awaken.
A Course in Miracles asks us:
- “Could it be some dreams are kept, and others awakened from?”
A Course in Miracles then answers:
- “The choice is not between which dreams to keep, but only if you want to live in dreams or to awaken from them.”
True Extension of Self and Seeing God Understood
This extension of God does not have any involvement with time, because time is a part of the dream.
Our own capabilities of extending take place among all of us, regardless of the dream. When we do awaken wholly and are seeing God, time will have meant nothing.
It’s the nanosecond of this dream that is the duration of ego-life.
Since all minds are one, or altars if you will, within the One-Minded realm, then our power to extend (communicate) within this Oneness is seen as miracles in the dream.
Are you with me here where seeing God is concerned?
If so, you are now experiencing the Oneness of Mind in the Real World, or true reality.
However, the ego-based mind built on fear and doubt by the projected human body, is quick to interrupt.
If you’re not with me here, even briefly, that’s okay.
That’s because if you have a willingness, within time It will come to you as a divine revelation.
If you’re having trouble with this, your willingness is proven, but your vision is blocked by the fact of your effort.
Therefore, throw out the effort by seeing your willingness as God’s extension.
