Goals and dreams are reached by living with passion and purpose which are necessary for all of us, because they give us a sense of value and the best way to be happy. Work on things that you feel worthy of your time.
Social relationships or networks can be essential to being happy with yourself because you are connecting with others.
When we connect with people we sense wholeness of mind—which is love, and we become more open to it instead of denying or avoiding it.
The Course in Miracles states, “If you choose to see yourself as unloving you will not be happy. You are condemning yourself and must therefore regard yourself as inadequate.”
People are different, so accept everyone for who and what they are, avoid clashes, constant arguments, and let go of all sorts of resentments.
If arguments seem unavoidable still make an effort and try to understand the situation and you might just get along well.
Are You Finding your Passion in Life?
Almost everyone have seen the old TV show Happy Days, with the screen characters Fonzy, Potsy, Ralph, and Richie Cunningham and little sister Joanie, to name a few.
The show had a very catchy way of conveying its message of the best way to be happy.
Fonzy’s simple message surely hooked a lot of people by relaying to them in his own tuff guy demeanor to not mess with him, because he knew how to live life with passion.
Laugh and laugh heartily every single day surely helps toward the best way to be happy. As the old adage goes, ‘Laughter makes us shine.’
Avoid exposure to negative wrong-minded elements like loud noises, toxins and hazardous places.
And always remember the quote from actress Goldie Hawn, “The best way to be happy is being happy with who you are, and not who people think you are.”
Being happy with yourself, optimistic and filled with positive outlook and a resilient life is wonderful, and is also good for your overall well-being and health.
(Here’s more about will I succeed in life is answered by how to be happy within.)
Letting Go of Stress and Anxiety
The best way to be happy is in releasing the stresses of life. Stress and anxiety are linked to top causes of death such as heart attack, cancer, other disease and stroke.
If you’re going to begin finding your passion in life and being happy with yourself you’ll need to accept and welcome change.
One of the better things ever said is – ‘The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change’, and in our life we have the power of choice to make the necessary changes if we want to.
If we find ourselves in an unbearable situation we can always find solace in the knowledge that it too would change, as well.
Some people just can’t start their day without their daily dose of news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do.
These are the core basics of time management that should be understood to develop an efficient personal time management skill.
These basic skills can be fine-tuned further to include the finer points of each skill that can give you that extra reserve to make the results you desire.
Spiritual Inspiration
A spiritual connection is also recommended.
This is why I so often urge that you learn some form of mindfulness meditation, or get involved with yoga spirit or yoga for health.
There is even a popular yoga for weight-loss that has been proven successful by many influential and famous people, and here’s a review article on that…
Being part of a religious or spiritual group with its singing, sacraments, chanting, meditations and prayers fosters inner peace.
The Course in Miracles reminds us that, “The journey we undertake together is the exchange of dark for light, of ignorance for understanding. Nothing you understand is fearful.”
The best way to be happy is, of course, being happy with yourself, and it’s relatively easy. Simply exercise your power of choice to begin living with passion and purpose.
The choice is yours, so simply choose to be all you can be and not settling for less.
Express your feelings, affections, friendship and passion to people around you, and find ways of expressing them in a way that will not cause more frustration or hurt to anyone.
Do aerobics, yoga, run or jog or power walk, stroll through a park, and do other things that your body was made for.
Live Life to the Fullest
Yes, I mean you want to picture the life you want and create it within you, and then reflect your inner beauty and bliss and abundance to your outer world and begin feeling alive.
This is how you create everyday miracles in your life!
Remember, as the Course in Miracles teaches us about being a “Happy Learner” which makes us expand and broaden our horizons.
Being a happy learner is how doors open up, and a whole world waits to begin giving us more and more opportunities for the future as we live life with passion.
Thank the clerk who bagged your groceries at the checkout counter, and thank the gal in the coffee shop for pouring you a great cup of coffee.
Thank someone for giving you their lovely smile, and give thanks to your inner Guide for leading you in the right direction.
The best way to be happy is actually found in everyone, so connect, because increasing it is a way to make a life more wonderful and living with passion and purpose.
(Here’s a suggested related article on why you should make the most of life and never wondering how long I got left to live?)
To being a happy learner,
