Discovering Your Purpose in Life and Igniting Your Full Potential

Are you like far too many people who have trouble discovering purpose in life?

Are you not answering to your true calling?

Perhaps you often ask yourself things like: what is the point of life, or what’s my purpose in life?

We certainly don’t want others telling us what our purpose in life is, so we must, will, that our path be seen. I mean going within yourself and learning to bring your heart’s desire to a reality that is yours.

It’s about looking at and then taking the necessary steps while letting go of what is not of your true free will.

Try to see that everyone has a life purpose, or as the Course in Miracles states, your “true free will,” because it is God’s Will that it be so.

Yes, your Creator wants you to be at peace and filled with joy while in this world. Your life’s purpose is a unique something that each of us is supposed to do in LIFE.

Why do we ask, what is the point of life?

In today’s world you have the internet to help you begin discovering your purpose in life, find ways to live a life of purpose, simple, quick, utilizing many ideas of others who have found answers to life’s questions.

Consider these 3 areas that discovering your purpose in life supports, where helping others in some step is what makes a better world.

If you haven’t learned mindfulness meditation techniques I urge you to do so, and meditate regularly on achieving your own objectives and goals for a life of purpose and passion.

(And by the way when you’re done here I suggest this related article on how to answer to what do you want to do with your life to have a sense of self-worth.)

  • Step# 1 Motivations

List at least 5 activities you like to do most.

Next you note the actions needed to do your favorite activities, the things that make you happy. Use only “action verbs”; action verbs are words like: create, support, bring back, let go of, categorize, communicate, and so on.

Yes, learning to communicate and establish great relationships.

Then, narrow the action verbs to the top 3 choices for our purpose in life.

  • Step # 2 Principles

Next list your desirables that you, personally, think strongly about. Come up with as lots of them as you can, perhaps 5 or more if possible.

  • Step# 3 Service

Your life’s purpose also includes being of service. It’s about being of service to others in the real world.

I mean realizing that we are more than just flesh and bones, and that each of us has a tender yet strong and good heart.

Think about others in society who you appreciate highly and would like to see assisted, i.e. what groups or types of people or entity would you most prefer to see or serve?

Opening Your Mind to your Full Potential

The Course in Miracles states, “The light in them shines as brightly regardless of the density of the fog that obscures it. If you give no power to the fog to obscure the light, it has none.”

To uncover the light and to ignite your full potential list many thoughts of your free will and passion and purpose, as they come to mind, maybe 10-12.

Then choose the single most important one to you, the one that you feel the greatest about.

If you finish these 3 exercises properly all 3 elements of discovering your purpose in life will shift forward from the power of your subconscious mind and be revealed to you.

Just put the 3 elements together and you will have the response to the age-old difficult to answer, question, of, “who am I … and why am I here”.

You will have found your own distinct and unique purpose in life given to you by the universe, that much of the world has been waiting for.

Remember, we all have a true free will—a life of purpose, that the Holy Spirit—your inner divine Guide, wants you to discover that may in some way help the world awaken to peace and wholeness of mind.

Being whole gives us a sense of self-worth and is how everyday miracles manifest, not magic.

It is real miracles to help you achieve your true free will.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

It’s about people helping people realizing their own natural gifts responsible for creating a better world.

So don’t be shy, get started now on bringing forth your natural gifts and discovering your purpose in life, by digging deep into the power of your subconscious mind to get your life to where it is destined to be.

The Course in Miracles teaches us, “Don’t be afraid to look within.” It’s where gifts of the Holy Spirit are waiting for you.

A life of purpose is not a specific job or career, but it is that something which is much deeper and more satisfying given to you in the creation.

Your true free will is where your journey begins, and then it’s up to you to take action on discovering your purpose in life.
