This brief article is intended for those who seem to be unable to overcome feeling down and lonely.
Although, it’s important to note what I really mean.
I’m saying, whether about yourself or about a world that upsets you, where you might feel there’s no use, any longer.
As well, those who lack motivation to achieve dreams, and such.
If I can rise above adversity from 8 long years in a state prison, then so can you begin to get over life challenges, and so forth.
I want to suggest you use creative visualization techniques for what you do want in life.
But, on the other hand, please do not start a visualization process of how the world is defeating you.
I hope that makes perfect sense.
So let’s get right to it here, and as I do please put on your best inward smile, so that, it shows on your face.
As you absorb my message for it’s value to you, keep in mind this spiritual metaphysical principle from the Course in Miracles:
- “And when the memory of God has come to you in the holy place of forgiveness you will remember nothing else, and memory will be useless as learning, for your only purpose will be creating.”
The Course in Miracles further states: “Yet this you cannot know until every perception has been cleansed and purified, and finally removed forever.”
Let me tell you a quick story I read about Albert Einstein’s concerns about his dear son.
A professor at Princeton spoke to Einstein about his son, a brilliant college student, but feeling down and lonely.
So depressed and dejected he refused to continue his studies or get involved in anything else.
What was the trouble for his lack of motivation?
Could it be a worry about his death?
No, it was more, so he thought.
He was concerned about the death of the solar system. “Someday”, he said, “it will all go to pieces, and then what?”
He continued feeling like he needed a prayer for worry and fear, but then decided that wouldn’t help either.
“Everything accomplished here on planet Earth would go for naught. It would be as if nothing really happened here at all! So why bother to do more?”
However, Einstein replied to his concerned son:
“Believing as I do”, Einstein urged, thoughts like, “Man in the distant future will be far more perfected, a more knowledgeable creature than he is now.
And it is an intolerable thought that man and all other sentient things are doomed to complete annihilation after such long – continued progress.”
However, he continued: “To those who can fully admit of their real mind, the destruction of our world will not appear to be so real.”
Why do so many of us seem to fall in the dumps?
(Please note, I want to suggest another related article on: I like this thought provoking article on if you are down in the dumps as you continue to strive at really big objectives, where you just feel like giving up.)
Okay, let’s move on.
Human beings have a fearful realization of death. Many are feeling down and lonely over something, always, it seems.
We don’t know, however, when that dreaded moment will arrive. Whether in the next instant, the next day, the next year, or decades later.
Furthermore, we as humans don’t know what, if anything happens beyond the door of death.
Out of feeling down and lonely, many will continue to say: “Nobody has the answers to these mysteries, so it is a waste of time to engage in such foolish conjectures.”
Einstein certainly realized it’s really “unwillingness to know ourselves that truly gives rise to fear.”
As well, when the unknown is deemed unknowable, fear stalks the mind. Then feeling down and lonely make conflict arise, and attack thoughts transpire.
Even when people are convinced they will survive death, they are nevertheless afraid. That’s because, owing to doubts and uncertainties as to where they will go after death.
Will they be in a blissful place called Heaven? Or, will it be a horrible hot seat in the fire of hell?
Additionally, the pictures they’ve conjured up in their minds about Heaven are often not too inviting.
However, so-called “true believers”, who think they have the best creative visualization techniques, and so forth, long in hope to go there.
Will the best prayer for worry and fear possibly help?
But, if we’re getting on our knees just to get what we want, because we fear a hell, then we really lack motivation.
I mean, true motivation help comes from within you, where you know that Heaven is always yours, and silently waits for you.
But when old age approaches they still tenaciously cling to life on Earth. Likewise seem to learn to deal with or get along with its miseries and sorrows.
Often people will say, “Anything beats the alternative”. Many talk about the love and peace of Heaven as the “ultimate paradise”.
But, why is it no one seems to wish to die in order to get there?
(I also recommend a related article here; It’s about the fear of death overcome for a better life of happiness and over-all well-being:)
