Passive Aggressive Behavior Left Behind and a Shift to Being Whole

What are we really doing whenever we pursue passive aggressive behavior attack toward someone, whether in thought, verbally, or physically?  It only leads to personal anxiety attack. It’s simple.

We’re telling ourselves that he or she is limited by our own perceived projections of the way this individual appears to us, or how we wish they would act or appear while in our presence.

Is there any loyalty of brotherhood in this?

We think that these wishful perceived notions of others will ensure our security.

But what’s really happening is that our wrong-mindedness is afraid to make the shift over to Truth, and also afraid to look beyond the errors of others, as well as ourselves.  The result is anxiety attack, in one form or another.

This becomes a block to our own awareness of the real Self that stands right-mindedly behind our errors, which is a step below total One-mindedness.

Shifting the Focus Gradually

A Course in Miracles helps us see inside this One-mindedness, or Christ-Mind, and it gently whispers down to the right-mind, keeping us—in a positive manner—informed and alerted to the untruths of the world and where they sit.

Here is where the Holy Spirit communicates in the right-mind so that we may help others shift over to unity rather than passive aggressive behavior, or anxiety attack, as a way of thinking and perceiving situations.

This is how the A Course in Miracles being understood, helps one another and the rest of the world to understand that overlooking ego-based behavior will give the world freedom to look beyond the illusory foundation humanity has built, which is wrong-minded wishful thinking.

This is why, for the most part, the world is presumptuous leading to passive aggressive behavior when it thinks it is being knowledgeable.

Jesus spoke of this when He told us about the two men who built their houses.

One built his house on sand, while the other dug deep (within) until he hit solid rock (Truth).  Remember, Jesus taught through parables.

This story in particular, and many others of His friendly conversations, was His way of bringing forward the right-minded perception in folks.

Jesus knew it was a way his listeners could see for themselves what they were capable of.

Any perception we have from the right-mind stems from a focus that tells us what we think we want to see.  This is positive.

If we can shift this focus gradually to a knowledge of what we want, which is what Jesus was helping folks to do through His parables, then what we see changes accordingly.

One-mindedness gathers only in wholeness, everywhere, with those who are recognizing that right-mindedness is where the shift to knowledge occurs.

But we must help the world realize this so passive aggressive behavior can be as minimal as possible.

It’s simple; a positive willingness brings out the knowledge in you, because you must operate in Truth to help others.

How do we know and teach others to simply follow the Truth within them?

By taking action in example-setting, and not by running around suggesting to everyone you see to “give love,” or by placing ads in the newspaper or on television that insist we must “Praise the Lord.”

The Lord does not want us to praise Him, because He has no ego that needs attention.  There are a number of pesty practices in our faces daily that only try to build an image of the ad owner as strong, when really they are afraid.

If we can see Jesus as our True model of a right-minded approach to living life, then we can easily step up to the knowledge of One-mindedness and become involved in real miracle-mindedness.

The reawakening to One-mindedness is your resurrection, which is the mind dawning on what it truly is.

Additionally, can you imagine Jesus if He were here today, running all kinds of advertisements with passive aggressive behavior selling salvation?

Of course that question is merely my attempt to help you think with humor about the Truth much of the world denies, and for you to realize that you do indeed extend yourself without the need to say a word or sell yourself.

The key is to remove your focus from your brother’s so-called sins.

This will remove the obscurity that will give the glow of peace within and around you that others will recognize.

Others will recognize this “halo effect,” so to speak, from their own right-mindedness, the same part in you, and then it will be brought forward in their own mind.

No different than why Jesus used parables and taught by example.
