Every thought you have can help make life simple and makes up some segment of the world you see.
It is with your thoughts then, that we must work with to create a better life, if your perception of the world is to be changed.
Every time you choose whether or not to fulfill your passion for how to live a better life you are really choosing whether or not to be happy.
Give truth of the miracle its due, and it will give you yours. You were not meant to suffer and to die.
It seems the more articles I write and as my ever-developing book series gets more popular, I’m getting more messages with concerns.
Many of the questions I get is to explain a bit deeper about the Christ Mind, the Holy Spirit, and more, on how these terms are used in the Course in Miracles.
Let’s begin to make life simple by realizing the unreality of the gap.
You’re probably already asking, ‘what the heck is the gap’ where improving my life is concerned?
As you flow through this article rather than analyzing it to death, keep in mind this lesson from the Course in Miracles:
- God gives you only happiness. Therefore, the function He gave you must be happiness, even if it appears to be different.
The one and only Truth about the dream of separation, fear and doubt is your expression while you dream.
Your expression reflects wholeness, and is the Holy Spirit, Who is One. But, as well, in both you and your brother/sister’s mind.
This is the total oneness where no real gap separates His Oneness from true reality.
The gap between bodies and dreams really doesn’t matter, because whatever is of God is always one.
Wholeness of mind has no gaps and does not dream.
This is why and how miracles are always ongoing everywhere, each moment of each day, without a single miracle being more difficult than another.
Look at the miracle this way: When you have allowed your expression from behind the dream to be the projection itself, then you’ve created a miracle.
A Course in Miracles teaches us through its 38th principle the mechanics of the miracle:
- “The Holy Spirit is the mechanism of miracles. He recognizes both God’s creations and your illusions. He separates the true from the false by His ability to perceive totally, rather than selectively.”
Quite simply, your expression from behind the dream is the Holy Spirit of God. This is why no one can be sick if someone else helps them to see reality.
So don’t join your brother’s dream because miracles are non-existent there.
Rather, join him where the Christ Mind exists, which is where projections that induce errors have been undone, real consciousness.
If any projection would remain, then it is an expression of your real self where miracles never stop.
This is depicted in a wonderful principle of ACIM:
- “A miracle is never lost. It may touch many people you have not even met, and produce undreamed of changes in situations of which you are not even aware.”
So why worry and be afraid if you can always be of your true expressions to make life simple?
God does not hand out losses, but your wrong-mindedness of fear and doubt surely can dream of having them.

How can there be anything of value in a gap that does not eternally exist?
Your body is the gap.
The gap only exists as seemingly real in the wrong-mind, because of your belief there is of separation from God.
This is where you erroneously think freedom is.
Your beliefs in wrong-minded thoughts and perceived notions can be seen as the weeds growing in the gap, as sickness.
But what is whole cannot be sick. If we’re not separate from God, and He certainly is not sick, how then can we be sick?
The miracle is the result when you refuse to acknowledge the gap that is not there.
Your own willingness to let go of illusion is all that the Holy Spirit asks.
He will place the miracle where it is needed in order that you accomplish your true free will, your purpose in life.
You will not lose and only gain much by your passion for living.
Likewise, your gains will bring on the effects that help your brother/sister of wholeness gain, too.
Others in the world are the one before you who gained in order to give the gifts so that you may achieve yours, and so on.
This is the way of the infinite power of the Sonship—the family of God, piloted by the Christ Mind in true happiness.
