Many people think how to be happy with yourself is in being financially stable, or having the perfect body, or the exciting career. But I’ve realized that being happy with yourself is not about your outer or material world.
So, where is your happiness?
How do you bring forth your true calling!
Do you know what it means to bring your mind, body and spirit to perfect oneness?
If you did, do you recognize that you would know how to be happy with yourself and have the ability to accomplish the balance that almost everybody wishes they had in their lives?
Do you know what you have to provide for yourself in order to cause this balance?
This oneness of being sets you free!
The Course in Miracles states, “Eternity is one time, its only dimension “always.”
Part of uniting the elements of your identity is by understanding what makes you passionate and is how to be happy with yourself.
Having Positive Outlook comes from Within
This is why I often urge that you learn mindfulness training, which basically is a breathing meditation for the best way to live, and more on that at a related article here:
Knowing exactly what makes you enthusiastic from within, will help you connect with all that you are, to feel imaginative energy, to feel genuinely alive with a life of purpose and passion.
Spiritual or imaginative enthusiasm from the depths of your inner core can get you accomplishing how to find happiness within you.
Whether it’s through faith, music, journaling or better yet, blogging, or perhaps art and some other type of artistic expression, you must discover exactly what will awaken your heart in order to strike balance in your life.
And by the way, many have asked, “Why Should I Blog?” Perhaps sharing your passions with the world and here’s an article showing you why:
Here are some ideas for how to be happy with yourself, but first honestly answer these questions within yourself:
What are your goals for the future? Exactly what would you like to ultimately attain in your life? Is it spiritual enlightenment? Is it social status? Or is it simply to be the very best person you can be, and make a contribution to society?
Answering these intimate questions is how successful people grow, and are habits of highly effective who have ever walked this planet.
Exactly what is essential, however, is the process by which you obtain your supreme goal. That is exactly what will generate your enthusiasm.
- Try to concentrate on the favorable, and do not dwell on the negative:
Recall your accomplishments and good deeds. By doing so, you will keep positive outlook and keep your spirit up.
If you constantly remind yourself of your errors, you will discover it more difficult to succeed down the road, and your whole oneness of being will be separated and work against you.
I’m sure you’ve heard of finding your “inner Self”?
This form of breathing meditation exercise helps you take your mind and spirit to a wonderful sensation—a location, so to speak, that fills you with happiness and deals with stress.
(Here’s a brief post for how to deal with stressful situations or let stress rule over you.)
Yes, meditation is a perfect thing to do when you are in the middle of a stressful and demanding day at work or with the kids; it provides the perfect opportunity to regroup.
- Spark a little change of routine:
Think about making plans for a vacation, even if it is just for a weekend.
Nothing will better for your whole sense of oneness than a little change of landscapes. How to be happy with yourself means going where you will enjoy, and have the ability to let loose and have exciting times.
Try it on your own.
It may sound difficult, but you will be amazed at how relaxed and refreshed you will find yourself after a weekend all to yourself!
- Try some day-to-day affirmations:
Select three things that you can state out loud in the mirror that will help you stay focused, favorable, and focused.
Stating something frequently enough has the power to make it true for you.
It’s how the power of reflection works to bring your goals and dreams to a reality of your own.
How to be happy with yourself means keeping in mind not to harp on the unfavorable, focus on the favorable.
Here are three standard affirmations I’ve borrowed from the Course in Miracles workbook that you can work from for how to find happiness within you.
I like to use these words during a breathing meditation which always sets me free:
- I am safe and because I rest in God.
- I am as God created me and so the Universe gives me everything.
- To give and receive are one in thought.
Remember, being happy with yourself is all about perfect oneness, your mind, body and spirit.
Understanding exactly what it is that makes you whole and feel increased self-worth, will keep you really feeling light and alive.
If you’re constantly recollecting your past mistakes and errors in thought, learn to let go of that ego-based aspect in you.
Course in Miracles teaches us that, “The ego is in your mind, because you have accepted it there.”
Absolutely nothing does your whole being of mind, body and spirit better than positive outlook, going within and letting go of what you do not want.
