Your Inner Power-Overcoming Fears and Phobias and experiencing Miracle Manifestation

Your inner power may create the exact reality you want by reflecting it into this world, and lived as your life here on earth.  But what holds many people back is a seemingly powerful resistance called the ego-based mind operating within us, which does its best out of fear and guilt, to see an unfolding of miracle manifestation as impossible and unreal.

But before you can let go of what’s holding you back you must more clearly understand it so you may direct it off of the theater screen of your life.

The ego is afraid of your inner power—the power of mind deeply rooted in you, that “rock” about you, your true identity.  The ego will try to avoid perceiving this power of mind.  It will work hard to depreciate your inner power with its wrong-minded thinking, leading to total wrong-mindedness.

This type of thinking projects threat onto you, and continues generating illusory perceptions that your inner power is unreal.

Thus the ego goes out of its way to believe Divinity is separate from your inner power, if it exists at all, and that it is God and all of Divinity is located someplace “out there.”

Why we fear

This posture gives the ego a sort of assurance that your true Divineness is far away and will not interfere with its own thought system.

The ego-based mind prides itself on the fact that its beliefs were built since time immemorial by generations of sacrifice.

The ego-based mind strives to gain paradise through continued sacrifice.  In fact, if you do not buy into its fantasy, it will go to great lengths to convince you that you are in denial and living a life leaning toward sin through fantasy of your own.

This is why you may at times doubt or fear your inner power.

A Course in Miracles states, “It is through these strange and shadowy figures that the insane relate to their insane world.”

But there will come a point in time when the ego will tire of its convincing antics, when it sees its own life coming to an end.  Meanwhile, you live on in peace, uninterrupted by illusory ego-messages.

Living in fear

The ego in you will also go out of its way to prevent any understanding about your inner power and true reality.  Why?  It’s the ego’s response to living in fear of the wholeness of knowledge, which is incapable of fragmenting or splitting apart.

Instead, the ego makes beliefs in order to keep knowledge at a distance.

Knowledge has no sizes or amounts or degrees; it is totally without division and certainly cannot be distanced. Since the ego relies on what it believes, it doesn’t have the capability to understand totality, let alone believe in it.  This belief in fantasy is how it made itself through dreaming.

The ego in us all can never have a single concept of wholeness, and is why a large part of us has a problem defining what is whole.  The ego just cannot define it.  Why?  Because wholeness can’t be made, it was created

This is why the ego’s focus is always on its own projected image of yourself and of others, as only a body; and conversely, it sees anything else not of a body or material as fantasy, and a potential reason for being defensive.

When we learn to reflect our inner essence rather than project fear we begin creating change in our lives, whether relationships being healed, weight loss, career enthusiasm, perhaps improved golf game, financial areas, whatever it might be is yours brought to you by your inner power.

But the ego can’t grasp the idea of reflecting your abundant true essence into this world and experiencing everyday miracle manifestation. Fears and phobias fade away when you begin the creative process of designing your life.

Fears and phobias

A Course in Miracles further adds, “The body is the ego’s home by its own election.

It is the only identification with which the ego feels safe, since the body’s vulnerability is its own best argument that you cannot be of God.”

Try to look a little deeper here, just for a moment or so, and see that the power of mind always creates as it was created

But in that seeming instant when the dream of separation initiated itself, the newly split-mind’s own guilt projected fears and phobias, the guilt for having thoughts of separateness, started the ego-separated style of thinking, and the first tick of time was born.

The ego-based mind has always been living in fear and has continued to produce fear ever since, through its fragmentation it hopes will lend security.
