You force opportunity to start finding you when you begin to question, “why,” I want a different life.
I will explain why just by your acknowledgement that you need to find how to live your life better and happier, a miracle process of unfolding will occur.
Rough patches begin to pave themselves when you start to make tiny changes in your reasoning.
Ask within what is it you need to do to to end the search for how to lead a happy life; then listen for the answers.
Otherwise, what is obstructing you from living life on your terms will continue to hold you back in life.
Often, it really feels difficult to choose the life you want when you are imprisoned by a career or job that you loathe.
If you’re like I once was, you continue this self-loathing due to the fact that it foots the expenses you have.
After all, we have to eat. Right?
Life can occasionally resemble a prison cell. Yes, where the more you mutter through the steel bars the more imprisoned you are.
The primary action for how to create your life around happiness is to often starting on a newer path.
A new journey that excites you about a newer and better outlook on life and the world around you.
This might mean letting go of much of the ego-based dialogue that has you chained and bound.
It’s that judgement, guilt, fear, doubt and the like, of our ego as humans that keeps on resisting change.
How Do You See the World as you Mutter, ‘I Want a Different Life?’
As you gain from this article keep in mind this spiritual metaphysical principle from the text of the Course in Miracles:
- “You who speak in dark and devious symbols do not understand the language you have made. It has no meaning, for its purpose is not communication, but rather the disruption of communication.”
Ask yourself truthfully through your heart the one question that can set you free:
Are you living the life you want based on the world you really want to see?
The doubts and fear that plague your mind about this particular question accurately describe the way anyone would develop and hold onto attack types of thoughts.
There seems to always be something to attack that is keeping many people from a world they feel they deserve.
“If only this or only that were different”, is a thought pattern.
We’ve all had this fear at one time or another.
These thoughts then become the way you see the world. Just another of the many vicious circles the ego makes and lives in.
Having projected your anger onto the world, you see many worrisome threats and vengeance. The kind that seem to be about to strike at you.
Your own attack thoughts are then perceived by yourself as righteous defense. It becomes a sort of self-defense as a way you live and see your world.
This sort of fearful notion is why I always suggest learning how to do mindfulness meditation, for going within and listening for answers.
I like to use this 7 minute mindfulness practice first thing in the morning; and I’ve heard from others, too, who just love it.
In this world we like to sugar coat things. Yes, in that, we wish for things, or tell ourselves, that situations, and ourselves are “right” in our wrong-minded ways.
Or, let me say we often wish to think our self-made righteousness is special.
“How can this be happening to me”, seems to be one of our special thoughts. This fragments into another spinning vicious circle and is how the ego-based mind survives.
This is how it plagues you and the way you see the people in your circle.
Can peace of mind be possible here?
The good news is when you feel like, I want a different life, you have the power for change.
You make the things you wish to destroy; – your special loves and those special hates. But remember, as I’ve detailed in my book series, all that you fear doesn’t truly exist.
You tell yourself, you “want to love”, even if just a little bit for now in case you should fail.
Perhaps, so that you may “preserve” some for a more “safer” and more “perfect” time.
Meaning, as though you only have so much in reserve.
(I also recommend another related article on: together we look deeply at the power of manifestation beginning by learning to visualize your goals.)
But it is impossible to only give partial love.
Real love extends as a part of who you are and does not meet levels or sizes depending on a degree of specialness.
Faith in specialness is a hidden belief that keeps you hiding from knowledge that exists within you.
What knowledge is this, you might ask?
Let’s take a look:
Look at the world about you. As your eyes move slowly from one object to another, from one body to another, consider honestly the following questions:
- Is all that you see going to pass gradually from a seeming existence?
- Do you see anything that will last forever?
- Is what you see a threat to your own existence, or out to punish or take from you?
Once you have honestly contemplated these questions, next, ask yourself one more question:
- Is this world the reality I truly want to see?
If your answer was absolutely truthful you can pat yourself on the back.
Because it was answered by your real Self from behind the dream of being separate from the Identity of God.
